Loading a horse onto a float can be a challenge, especially when they’ve had negative experiences before or are simply unsure. In this session, I worked with a horse that showed clear signs of resistance to loading. The main goal was to build trust and create positive associations with the float.

Washing your colt is a part of taking good care of their coats and skin and general hygiene. It also has the added benefit of desensitising the colt and building trust and confidence.
